Up for auction is a pair fo new wet/dry combat boots designed specifically for the seal teams and has also become popular with army special forces as well. I am only selling these because i had ot get a larger size. It still took me a while to decide to sell these, just because they are so unique. I use the larger pair all the time and have quickly become some of my favorite, on duty and off. To start, these boots are lighter than any combat boot currently out, even blackhawk's light assault boot. They feel like a pair fo high top basketball shoes.
Even though thye are light and agile, the durability is top notch and holds up as good as leather, if not better. The slits of ballistic mesh make these very comfortable in hot conditions. It is like air conditioning for your feet. The best part of lal is the fact that these boots can go anywhere. The soles are designed to hold trcation on both wet and dry surfaces with an innovative all-terrain pattern that includes a technique called siping. It is similar to the zig-zagged slits you would see on high performance tires. The boot is intended to be worn with waterproof socks such as sealskinz when submerged. Yes, htats right, i said submerged! These boots owrk amazingly in water. The whole boot is designed to drain water. There are small slits of highly durable ballistic mesh cleverly placed on teh upper and a series of screened drain holes on the bottom. You can totally submerge the boots and when you step on dry land there will be no water in the boot. Only the mesh remains wet and evne that dries in no time at all.
The boots are sage green and go rgeat with multicam or acu patterns. There are 3 removable inserts included with each boot. One insert is for arch support and cushioning. The second is for rigidity and protection. The third insert is a spacer for a tighter fit. These boots are also compatible with combta dive fins. All materials are high quality synthetics and will not rot or breakdown due to exposure to fresh or salt water. Featurestactical rubber technology⢠for superior silent traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Sole units are lugged and razor siped to help facilitate water dispersion. Perforated lugged jungle sole unit, allows for instant water drainage.
Recessed arch on the outsole helps identfiy center of gravity when climbing ladder rungs. Ballistic mesh placed between the outsole and upper prevents small stones and debris from entering boot, yet still allows for water to drain freely. Rubber reinforced toe and heel help aid in climbing maneuvers. High abrasion tpu upper material resists scfufs far outlasting conventional leather.
The material is treated with a dwr (durable water repellant) having minimal water absorption characteristics. Mesh parts throughout the boot allows for watre drainage and breathability resulting in quick dry comfort for increased foot health. Reticulated foam used for all upper padding will not absorb water under any circumstances.
Sea/air/land seal footbed⢠aids in water drainage as well as breathability for unsurpassed foot health in a wied variety of conditions.
