Gerber Fixed Blade Tactcal Knife With Glass Break ShankGerber 1400lmf ii asek fixed blade knife. This is my second one of these and was used in iraq, it has been used for splitting c4 blocks and other odds and end. This has been a top shlef contender to my emerson. Configuration specs are asblack coated 12c27 stainless steel with 11/3 serrated back edge10 3/4 overall length4 7/8 blade length1 3/16 thicksoft rubberized nonslip grip, to also protect against electric sparkpoint edge back shank (actually used to brake vehicle door windows)in great shape alsooffset holes for spear mounting (silly survival mode) this knife has been proven to cut though aluminum aircraft fuselage ( i have not done it with this one). The blade is in very good shape with no burrs or nicks. The side of the blade face has small surface scratches from actual use. The blade is very sharp, the handle does show some dirt and wear but is completely intact still. The shank has discoloration from sand and rubbing of ppe armor. Both handle securing snaps work. I just used one in theater. The attached zip tie was for expedient draw if needed in an intimate moment. View my other gear!
The sheath is a coyote brown and molle applicable to fit your rig or kit in many different configurations. The sheath lower has a built in blade sharpener.
